I forgot to state that yesterday mornings bloodsugar was 44! after 8oz orange juice and 3/4 a banana, 20 min later he only raised to 51. so more OJ. finally got him up to 78 then 95 at the end. scary stuff. today we start the first trial of lantus at 30. i hope it helps if not ill call doc and have her OK lowering it again. We'll give it 2-3 days.

Yes., you need to give it a few days. It may take that for his system to "recognize" the change
