Just updating quickly, Jerry has been watching his carbs very closely since his sleepy hands incident. LOL maybe he just needed a "wake up call". I wish they could figure out why he still has so much problems with bowel movement pain- ITS NOT the lower part its up in intestines. When they move it just kills him. That is the only reason he still takes the measly 10mg of pain med 2x day. well off to work. summer is here. ITS HOT HOT HOT out already. Maybe i can get jerry to get involved with some gardening. MAYBE lol

Well.. surprise.. yesterday jerry woke up and BOTH his hands were numb. ALL day he fought that feeling but mind you, he sure kept his carbs down and did his meds as required and was IN RANGE all day! hmm maybe a scare did him some good? we shall see.
Today I slept in , he had to do his own breakfast. He must have over done on the carbs because it was still high and a few minutes ago, he took 4 units of humulog and his belly ache he had all morning went a way. HMMM lets see Jerry, does that make sense to you? high bg=belly ache on top of damage its doing elsewhere, maybe all he needs is a bad run and then he will see how Important it is to keep those carbs under control!

Saturday before Easter , April 7, 2007,
Jerry is still fighting the carb issues. WHY has he been so defiant lately and not watched his food right? or well enough. Easter will find him a basket of REAL eggs and carrot medallions a few green onions as background and alfalfa sprouts for grass.
He is using his Vpap more regularly. He will have to learn to take care of himself as I have my own issues to deal with. I hope he realizes the damage he can be doing to himself for later on. On the 23rd of this month we go in for our bloodwork, both of us. This will be for his A1c. Im sure the doc will then be ready to discuss pumps with him. Maybe he is going to have to go that route.
